Potential Orders of the Tribunal
The Tribunal may make an Order as set out in Article 51 of the Solicitors (Northern Ireland) Order 1976.
In particular the Tribunal may order:
- The dismissal of the application or complaint;
- Admonishment and/or fine (up to £3,000.00);
- Imposition or removal of practice restrictions;
- Suspension or termination of suspension from practice;
- Strike off or reinstatement to the Roll of Solicitors.;
- the termination of the solicitor’s exclusion from legal aid work;
- Orders for payment of costs;
- Orders for restitution or satisfaction.
